New Application for managing UPC database on SAM4pos

SAM4s has released an exciting new version of their popular POS application SAM4pos. This newest version is designed for the mobile tablet and is for programming and managing your UPC database only. This new version is less than half the cost of the full version of the App your POS terminals like the SAP-630 or SAP-6600 is running. The idea behind this change came about because most users of the tablet don't use them for POS or reports, the primary use has been managing items.

Using the Mobile Tablet with this new App makes managing your items so much easier. The optimal deployment would include a tablet with a built in 2D bar code scanner. Using that configuration you can easily manage prices and add new items on the fly. When you need to change prices simply walk through your aisles scanning the items you need to edit, applying the new price and save the data. Instantly the prices will be updated in the POS terminals. You can do all this with never interrupting the POS terminals. If you have a really large store you can deploy multiple mobile tablets. If you need other features like POS or reporting on your tablet you can always use the full version of SAM4pos. SAM4s SPS-520R is being replaced by the SAP-520R

The SPS-520R has been one of the best selling cash registers in the SAM4s line. It has been retired to make way for the newest and most advanced cash register ever made. The SAP-530R is the model succeeding the SPS-520R.

The differances are dramatic at best except for the cabinet. The first thing you will notice is the SAP-530R has a 10" touch screen and a receipt printer only. When you understand this machine you will probably agree those are the most minor changes. The big leap forward is the SAM4s SPS-530R is an Android device and is powered by the SAM4pos POS App.

No more will you have to "Z" out the machine between days if you don't want to. You can take reports by date range. How about end of day reports emailed to you? To top it off with an optional hand held tablet that works as a POS terminal, data collector or both!

Wireless Data Collector for the SAM4s SPS-520R (any of the SPS-500 series)

We have an application that allows you to add and edit items to your SAM4s SPS-520R or any of the SAM4s SPS-500 series registers. We are using a commercial windows tablet but no reason you could not use a Surface or something like that as long as it is Windows. Wtah the video below where I add an item to the cash register database over Wi-Fi.

This application allows you to change prices, add items and even add stock directly to the register in a live mode. No more docking stations or file transfers, just make the change of additions in the tablet and send it to the register.

Using Data Collector to change prices wirelessly on a SAM4s SPS-520R

Did you know you can change prices on your SAM4s SPS-520R cash register with a wireless windows tablet? Yes that is correct, walk around your store and change prices, add items or even count stock with a wireless tablet with a built in scanner.

Hand Held Data Collector for the SAM4s SPS-520

The Cash Register Guys have developed a hand held Data Collector for the SAM4s SPS-500 series. This data collector works in conjunction with the PC Utility or PC Poll to enhance the programming and stock keeping features of your SAM4s SPS-520R or 530R register.

With our CRG-500DC you will be able to add new items to your cash register. When you receive new items you can simply scan the item, enter the price and answer a few questions the CRG-500DC will prompt you for. After that you simply use the USB port to sync the CRG-500DC to PC Poll or PC Utility and download. Without touching your cash register your new items are in the register. We can even allow you to chose tax status, bottle deposit, mix and match table and more all from the handheld.

Not only will the CRG-500DC allow you to add items on the fly you will also be able to count and update stock in the cash register, check pricing and more. You could even build an order list if you were so inclined.
