Are you looking for a wireless bar code scanner for your SAM4s cash register?

We have just started carrying the Newland line of scanners. They have a very affordable well performing scanner. Several really nice aspects of the Newland Line, one they all come in both serial and USB interfaces. The serial cable and power supply does cost more but very affordable. We were able to switch back and forth between the two interfaces by just changing the cable. This is important as several of the SAM4s cash registers have both USB and Serial while others only have a serial port. 

Newland scanners are optical scanners, not laser. However, we tested and really like the performance. Are they as fast as a laser, well no they are not but no optical scanner on the market is. Having said that the Newland scanners are fast for an optical scanner. Also another benefit of being optical is they also can scan identifications for Age Verified purchases if your cash register supports that feature which several SAM4s models do like the SAMs SAP-630R, SAP-630F and the SAP-6600II.

However let's get to the show stopper the entry level Newland scanner is also available in Bluetooth so you can have a wireless scanner. Because of the unique way Newland includes both interfaces the Bluetooth works with serial port only SAM4s cash registers too. That is right,  even the cheapest SAM4 model that scans can use this wireless bar code scanner.
