If you just invested in a new SAM4s cash register take the time and maybe spend the money for training so you know how to use it properly. We hear from frustrated people every week that complain their cash register does not do this of that and almost every time the problem is operator error.
Some people can pick up the manual and master the register in a few hours while other can't. Decide who you are and if you are one of the can'ts what you can do is turn to people that know how. Yes you will pay for their time, however you than will be able to use your cash register the way it was designed which helps you make more money.
You would be amazed at how many people we speak with that have no idea what a Z counter is, or why the non-resettable grand total are for. The cash register was invented by a bar owner because he knew he was being stolen from. Now after 40 years in business we know as a company that if your store or restaurant has not been stolen from yet it will be! It is a matter of when you will be stolen from not if!
