The SAM4s SPS-500 series is comprised of several models.
- The SAM4s SPS-520rt which is a raised keyboard register with a two station printer. The cashregister is designed for retail stores and includes options like bar code scanner and credit card interface
- The SAM4s SPS-520ft comes with a flat keyboard designed for all types of restaurants. Plenty of options like Kitchen Printers, Kitchen Video, and Credit Card Interface
- The SAM4s SPS-530rt is just like the 520rt except it comes standard with a single station 3" printer.
- The SAM4s SPS-530ft is also just like the 520ft keybaord except is has the single 3" thermal printer instead of the dual station found on the 520ft.
The SPS-500 series is priced right, and has very affordable options.

we have the sam4s 500 model. we recently added the credit card machine.the problem is with the gift cards. if the credit card doesn't go thru for payment it locks up the machine. the dealer said to turn it off and on again. Isn't there a key or something, like cancel? any help you could give would be greatly appreciated.

Is the gift card or credit card locking up the system? Turning something off and on should of course only be a short term solution at best. However I need a little more information to reccomend a long term solution. We have hundreds of Datacaps deployed and of course we encounter a few problems but overall they are very solid once installed and worked in. So please give me a little more detail on what leads into the lock up and any error you get? If Gift Card is the problem whose Gift Cards are you using?
