We have a limited amount of used SAM4s SPS-520R cash registers available. Because these registers were so popular don't expect them to be available very long. They include a 30 day warranty and we will install any ROM version you need before shipping. All of these have brand new keyboards because we took them in as 520F models and converted them to the raised keyboard version because they are in more demand. New Pin Pad for SAM4s cash registers

Finally another choice for pin pads for SAM4s cash registers. This is the Lane 3000 and as you can see from the video it is faster than the old VX-805. This connects to the cash register with a Datacap device like the Tran Server or IP Tran LT device. In multi lane applications you will still require a PDC for each register as well.

SAM4s SPS-520R update

If there were a cash register hall of fame the SPS-520R would be the first model to be inducted right after the Ritty Register of course. The reason we are talking about the 520R is that sadly it has been discontinued and is no longer available. If you are currently an owner of one of these registers don't fret, support and parts will be available for a very long time.

So as the saying goes every cloud has a silver lining in this case the silver ling is that there is a new model that replaces the SPS-520R. This new model takes all the great features we all came to love and builds on them with a new and improved system. The replacement is the SAM4s SAP-630R

As you can clearly see the new models looks a like the old one with a larger screen and only one receipt printer. To make room for the larger screen one of the printers had to go and that was the journal however that has been replaced with a huge electronic journal.

Bar Code Scanner for SAM4s cash register update

Honeywell 9520 Bar Code Scanner

Well it was going to happen eventually but it is still hard to believe the Honeywell 9520  bar code scanner has been discontinued. This has been a best selling scanner for over a decade. Affordable, fast and rugged were the hallmarks of the Honeywell 9520.

The 9540 will still be available however Honeywell is raising the price to a level we feel is not as great a value like the 9520 always was. So we started thinking about scanners and which model will become our go to scanner. We think we have decided on the CODE CR950 for several different reasons. First it is affordable, it is an image scanner so a better pattern than the 9520 was, it is presentation or handheld, serial or USB. We really think this is a great replacement.

PLU Not found feature with SAM4pos

PLU not found has never been easier with than now. The SAM4pos system improves upon the years of experience with the SER-6540, SER-7040 SPS-520R and the SPS-530R. You could even build your entire Database this way if you wanted to.
